Roofing

Shingle replacement, roof repairs, and the flashing and trim details that keep water out of a Northern Ontario home.

A roof is the part of your house that takes the worst of a Kirkland Lake winter. Ice, wind, freeze-thaw cycles, and heavy snow loads find every weak seam, and by the time a stain shows up on a ceiling the damage has usually been going on for a while.

We handle residential roofing from small repairs through to full replacement, and we take the flashing, valleys, and edge details as seriously as the shingles themselves. Those details are where most leaks actually start.

What this covers

Shingle replacement

Tear-off and re-roof, including inspection of the sheathing underneath before anything new goes down.

Roof repairs

Targeted repairs to leaks, damaged shingles, and problem areas rather than a full replacement when that is the sensible call.

Flashing and valleys

Chimney, wall, and valley flashing done properly so water is directed off the roof instead of behind it.

Storm and wind damage

Assessment and repair after weather damage, including documentation you can pass along to your insurer.

Ventilation and edge details

Drip edge, vents, and eave details that help the roof shed water and manage moisture.

How the job runs

  1. 1

We look at the roof and the attic where we can get access, so the quote is based on the actual condition and not a guess from the driveway.

  2. 2

You get a written estimate that spells out the scope, the materials, and what we would recommend.

  3. 3

On job day the site gets protected, the old material comes off, and we inspect the deck before new material goes on.

  4. 4

We clean up as we go and do a full magnet sweep of the property before we leave.
